It is one of history's more obscure truths that in 1968 Bobby Kennedy offered Martin Luther King the Vice-Presidency, if he won the nomination of his party for the Presidency. Now if this had happened and the Kennedy/King ticket had won. The United States would have taken a more liberal turn but instead the Fascist Power structure killed them both. Some people such as the Howard Zinns of the World think that Presidents can't change things that movements do. Can he really argue that a Kennedy/King Administration would not have changed things? Its too bad that the American people were not allowed to decide at the ballot box on a Kennedy/King ticket. The Fascist Establishment did not let them.
