Launching My.BreakForNews - A Citizen Reporters Project
BreakForNews announces a Citizen Reporter portal modelled on the successful 'OhMyNews' iniative, which is already realizing Marshall McLuhan’s "global village" in Korea. We are offering our own global readers the opportunity to participate in open source news as 'Citizen Reporters'. Don't just read the news -- write it too!
BreakForNews visitors can Register (private) to get login and password. Once they login they can post Comments and Submit News articles. Soon, Citizen Reporters will be posting stories themselves unmoderated.
As other My.BreakForNews visitors comment on your stories --you get instant feedback from readers around the world.
This is Day 3 of the project online, so the posts are accumulating and there's still enhancements to add to the content system. It's working reliably.
But don't just watch it grow. Be a part of it.
